Has anyone used the eagle claw endure 6000 bait casting reel. Price seems to fit the budget. Would prefer the Garcia 6500 C3. May just save my money a little longer.

Never heard of it! Save some coin and go Abu Garcia. Keep your eye on the classifieds, can pick up some pretty sweet deals in there.
I'd Tack That!!

5K and 5500 work very well, but the advantage goes to the 6500 with the larger spool overall. I personally dont give two flips for the bait clickers and have never used that option on my 65's The 65's are even sweeter when you upgrade them with the ceramic"go-fast" parts Well worth the w a i t . . . . . . Southwestern parts has abu garcia 5000, for 50 buck s they are used but went through

Bait clickers are nice when you have a dozen or more rods out at once. It lets you know there's a fish on so you don't have to keep your head on a swivel.

If you can wait it out and save you will be glad you did when you get the 6500 c3, I also use a couple of the abu 6000 that i purchased off of ebay for about 40 bucks each and they have held up nicely too. Most of my reels all have baitclickers and I hardly ever use them, but if I needed them they are nice to have. I also use the 5500 and it is a good reel but I use it for slip cork fishing.
