ME and my buddy were wonderin about the bite on fork and what we should throw to catch the double digit basses out there any tips would be appreciated?

Watch the weather. If there is a weather change when you plan on going then I wouldn't go. That's just me. Not saying u need "perfect" weather but you might want the best u can get. IMO, only the guides/regulars do good or great during frontal periods and colder weather. Even a few degree drop con hurt the fishing there. Again, that's IMO!!!

That's more important to me then what and where to throw.

I would fish north of the dam.....HARD!

Night fishing should be really good in April.

This year with the spawn being a little behind there should be a lot of fish still on beds, and in April the weather usually stabilizes more so than in March.

Hire a guide, If not fish you're strenghth's a postive attitude and a good twenty yard stretch can make you day on that lake.Remember its Spring 100's of boats they've seen it all. down size or upsize can do wonders.

Fork from what I have read seems to be a bit ahead of some of the other lakes as far as the spawn goes. Still should be tons of fish on beds, and some pre-spawn fish to target, possibly. I would go after both.
