Looks like a good one tomorrow for North Texas. Only downside is the bluebird sky. Lots of tourneys going and alot fish gonna be caught. I'm ready to get after them!

Y'all be safe and tight lines!

I hope its a good one too, but rising pressure, north winds, and no clouds does not spell good fishing for me. I'm gonna give it a go for sure. I don't let the weather dictate when I fish but I do log every bit of it, and for me, history shows days like tomorrow don't turn out well.

Let's prove history wrong. cheers

We'll be on Joe Pool in just a little while. That lake has never been good to us--but were going anyway.

Happened to me a week or so ago. I just installed the G-Force metal cable, so hopefully that is one less thing to go wrong from here on out.

Well I just got back. It was Slow. I was gonna go to Athens, but with all the talk about it I figured it would be crowded so I went to Mill Creek. Only 20 boats there lol. Lost two at the boat. Decided to pack up early and head home get some stuff done, skip church and head to Athens in the AM. Much better conditions. That front did more damage than I thought it would.

The front itself isn't the issue really. It's the awful high pressure. I'm sure there'll be people who argue but it's the truth. When you combine it with blue skies and light or no wind, it spells disaster.

High pressure killed me today. I had the opportunity to fish a private lake today, and still managed to only catch 2 dinks in 5 hours.

I thought I would have the same luck as y'all, considering the conditions. I actually had a great day though, catching a couple 4s and a 6. They were, however, bed fish so maybe that explains it.

20 boats on Mill Creek? WOW

All it takes is one or two people to run their big motors down that lake and those fish lock up!

That.s a crazy amount of people on that lake.
