May be deemed cause for disqualification! It's the Tournament Director Call and his is final period. Guys just go fish and have fun. If you catch someone cheating I will help hire attorneys to put him in jail.

What happen to your post prior to Skeeter 250 posting information and rules. I believe you stated you would never disqualify an angler for breaking a no wake rule. Feel free to qualify your stated. Hard to understand that you would never disqualify an angler for breaking a federal or state law For the record and to clear the angler in question was on pad not idling.inside the marker buoys

Guys, all are right in some way or another. First off there is a difference between Cheating and a Rule infraction. Two any protest is done in writing period...that's the Rules. Once the tournament director makes a decision, it's FINAL If you don't agree then don't fish the tournament anymore and move on. From my understanding if the angler was DQ'ed you the protester would be the winner. I always say the way to beat an angler is to beat the fish! And if you haven't heard from ABA you probably didn't have a legitimate complaint.

I'm not fishing D52 this year, but I know all people concerned and know for a fact that they all care. I'm positive the tournament director made a decision on facts and not assumptions. Put it behind you, go catch some fish, and enjoy the company of the fellow anglers.

Guys, sorry im late to the Conversation. I AM THE ACCUSED! Johnny, at the end of the day, you and I both left with a bad taste for the day in our mouths. Its a sad day when two guys doing what they love take 1st and 2nd place (both of which everyone else that day would have loved to have either of) and we both left angry! You feeling you got slided, me accused for something that didn't happen.
My side, I did come in to the ramp at 3pm thinking it was 3:30. There was no boats in the cove and no people around. I pushed up on the bank, got out thinking I really messed the time up. I walked up the ramp into the parking lot to the weigh table and talked to the director. He informed me that I was wrong on the time and had another 30 minutes. There were a few guys drinking beer by a truck but no anglers. I jogged back down to the boat, pushed off, hit the wake buoy closest to the ramp and ran down the park for a minute or so and fished a little longer. No luck, came back with all the other anglers and beached it. Sat at the boat BSing with another angler at his boat, talked about the days fishing for about 15 minutes then went up and weighed my fish. Took a few pics and went down to release my fish. Talked at the ramp with another angler for another 10 minutes, then You barged into our conversation all swollen up an confrontational. after 5 minutes of you accusing me, I told you I was done talking to you and you need to take it up with the director. You did, later he talked with me. I said I didn't, he had your second hand knowledge (you were no were around at the alleged time) and I guess that's what he formed his decision on. The director was the closest to the ramp.
Johnny look, I'm sorry things didn't go your way, I DID NOT CHEAT, break rules, or set out to do anything other than fish with fellas that love the sport, have a great day, and let the fish gods place them were they want. Hey, you had a nice bag, I would take it any day. If you so chose to no longer fish 52, that's a shame. At the end of the day, I wish you and I would have had the opportunity to enjoy what we both worked hard for that day!

Thanks for your side of the story but I do want to point out a few things about your story that is untrue. For the record I was in the area when you came in at 3:00 and I did see the events that occured at that time. I didnt know untill I was at the weigh in and several spectors was talking about a boat that came in early and was on pad entering and exiting the no wake zone that I put it all together. Also I did not interept your conversation all swollen up an confrontational, I simply wanted to ask you a few questions to see if you would admit your guilt. I understand you and the tournament director are friends and it all makes sense that he wouldnt accept a written or verbel protest since he clearly stated to me he was not going to DQ any angler that day. We can all agree and disagree on this for the next 20 years and nothing will change. I have move past it and need to focus on fishing Congratulations on your win and hope to fish against you soon

Let's move on... The tournament director made the decision based on what he believed to be the facts and that will not change. I've known the tournament director for years and will fish all of his tournaments knowing that he is fair and honest. This subject should be deleted from the Forum now.

BlueduckJust and fellow forum member's, I am sorry for wasting your time and prolonging this topic. This will be my second and last post on the issue, rest assured.
Johnny, just clear up my side:
1. Your no expert in personal relationships! The only six days I have meet the tournament director are the six tournaments I have fished this year for this is the 1st year I have been involved with the ABA. From my side, the Director and the ABA have fulfilled there obligation in this he said, he said issue.
2. Johnny you have questioned my integrity! You are nothing more than a Blow Hard LIAR! Day one, you were out on the lake, didn't see it but was told by the spectators that you were getting screwed, never mind the fact that your four fish bag was 5 pounds less than my four fish bag! Day two of this, YOUR WORDS Johnny "for the record when the angler broke the no wake no other anglers where around beside me and some spectators" Now this morning, your words Johnny "For the record I was in the area when you came in at 3:00 and I did see the events that occured at that time". Johnny, your record is broken but skipping to different tunes each time!!!
What is it Johnny? Your position on this incident is better served with your mouth shut! What you say changes every time! If you have anything else you feel you need to say to me, message me direct and I will gladly answer any questions or concerns you have, but please for the love of God, quit wasting everyone else's time!
Sorry Guys!
