I wanted to try out flat creek myself sometime soon for some crappie. How deep is it around those docks with palestine being above level a bit?
To fish or not to fish... That is no question to be asking. FISH!

Got on them in back of Saline for past few weeks...today too windy to fish main canal on back right side...slipped into the oxbow creek in the left center and caught 15 slabs...minnows only in there,,its gnarly..

Crossed it on 314 about 2 hours ago. Couple of boat trailers and several people on the bank. All I Could catch was shorts a little over a month ago. Been wondering but Tyler is closer and they are biting.

I drove up Hwy 31 from Athens to Tyler, crossed Kickapoo and Neches creeks which have all been loaded with parked cars and trucks. Was very surprised at how few there were out yesterday when the weather could not have been nicer for creek fishing. I'm guessing they have moved back to the main lake?
