Hey guys, I'm hoping you can help me out with something. I ran into an elderly woman who was looking to sell some of her old fishing equipment, and she was going to sell her rods and reels to me for $10 each, if if bought them all... ($50 total).

After looking at them, I really didn't feel comfortable buying them without looking into their real value. I'd hate to take advantage of her. So I turn to you with the hope that you may be able to help help me put a more accurate value on these.

She said most of them are probably 25 years old, or more.

I appreciate any help you can give.

What I know...
1. Far left is a Shimano Rod, not sure of the reel...

2. Second from left is a zebco rod, zebco 33 reel.

3. Far right is an OLD rod, made of wood by the feel of of it. Not sure of the reel.

Thanks again.

I don't think you would be taking advantage of her if you gave her $50

2nd from right is most likely an ABU ultra mag. Far right could be a millionaire or another ABU, hard to tell. The other bait caster looks more like Daiwa to me.
I have a ultra mag at the house, solid reel. you'll be good at 50 in my opinion.

The reel on the far right is a daiwa pro lite 100.The only reel worth anything is the ultramag. Its worth maybe $30 cleaned up.The rods are worth $5 to $10 each.I still have one of those pistol grip Berkley phazer rods myself. That shimano rod on far left might bring $30 if its in good condition.I think its either a beastmaster or magnumlite.

Thanks for all the replies. I went back to her and told her to general consensus here was $10-$15 each, and she managed to sell them for $20 each.

She was so grateful for the help that she gave me a great deal on an old tackle box full of lures that are probably older than me, so it worked out well all around.

Again, appreciate all the information!

All old Diawa except the zebco. The baitcasters look like Magforce Procast reels. Vintage reels for sure. They are worth about $25 to $50 dollars each.

Lets see the lures, good possibility they would have more value than the rods and reels. I've been collecting old lures for 30+ yrs, if any of you have old lure you need ID on or value, let me see a photo or 2 and maybe I can help. No Guarantee I will know every lure, but I will have a pretty good ideal on most of the older ones. Keith

The one in the middle is a Shimano magforce. Cant tell the model. Maybe HT100 which sells for around 20 bucks on ebay. The one on the far right is a Shimano bantam, maybe a sg. Those can bring at least 30 bucks if you clean it up. I hava a few of each sitting in the garage.
