I fished from 2' to 13' in Buck from 7am - 2pm. I didn't mark a crappie or catch one. Pretty strange I thought.

i went Friday from 11 to 430. i tried all depths. bridge pilings and in the creeks. deep an shallow. minnows and jigs. away from wind in calmest areas and still nothing. then went to pecan creek area with the wind blowing so hard i couldn't fish. boat was rocking with wake. tried the bridge their an was just to violent so went in coves an still nothing. what a day.

i asked the other fishermen an nothing. i love Fishing Ray Roberts. i just don't know were else to try. my old honey hole for spawning crappie is above water and now i don't know were to go. I'm bummed out. may try grapevine or cedar creek.

I wish full blown spawn time was here already... I remember so many times years before I would of been fighting multiple fish this time of year. Never been so hit or miss before!

You can also get minnows and a great breakfast and lunch at Lake Ray Roberts Sportsman Shop on 1192 going to the Jordan Park boat ramp. They also have the Rosey Red minnows and tackle.

I haven't been back in about 3 weeks. I may get a chance to check it out this week depends on the weather. If I find anything I will let you know.
