A white fallow does not have the black tail stripe.
The knot is most predominant on the males and besides the "fawns" are to big for this time of year and also to have spots.

Well actually when I first saw them, I thought it was three fawns and one was just white. All three Deer are small, its hard to tell in the picks because there's nothing to compare them to but even the white one is a small deer. I would think Axis before Fallow but then again, from the gate of these deer when they run and the flaging tail, I don't know. Still poses the problem if they are not Whitetail, where they could have came from, especially three of them. I know the owner of this land and he cares not for deer of any kind so I know he did,nt put em there, besides its open country, no fences..The other two with spots don't have the tail stripe either..Maybe I will be able to get some closeups next week, I see em almost every morning.
