Santone Swim jig in Pake's Perch with a Castaic Jerky J Swim Series in Blue Gill Color I'd like to see a picture of that combo! Sounds intriguing! Wish I had a picture on my phone. I'll try to remember to take a picture when I'm out on the boat this weekend. The tail of the Castaic swimbait thumps pretty hard in the water for a thinner profile swimbait. And your boy sure knows how to make a fine looking jig.

reviving an old thread here. I told yall i would give an update about santone swim jigs. after i made the post about the hooks bending jerrod contacted me and asked some questions to get more information. after some r&d time they have come out with the best swim jig out there. for those who catch the toads buried in the nasty stuff. they have come out with a new siwash series swim jig, it is awesome, check out the monster hooks they have! i wrestled a 8 pounder out of the grass with it with no bending of the hook at all. won my club tourney on rayburn with that 8# and a 6# and used the same jig all day.....theres a couple reasons for the big hook they hit the nail on the head with this lure!!!!

Talon Custom Lures or Dirt Jigs for sure
