Cabin fever is getting the better of me! After living in North Texas for 11+ years, I moved to Pennsylvania for work. This has been the WORST winter yet. When I was a kid, I used to love snow, now I hate it. We had so much snow this year, I literally didn't see my grass from Thanksgiving to a week ago, and still have spots in the woods with snow. I have organized my tackle at least 3 times in the last month. I have a new Chronarch and St. Croix with a jerkbait tied on for smallies fish , and cant get out. The Susquehanna river (West branch) has some nice smallmouth, walleye and musky, and cant get out. Planned to go Sunday, mid 50's and sun, now its going to rain all day today, all day tomorrow and mid 40's and rain Sunday. The river will be raging and look like chocolate milk! Next week, we have rain foretasted for Thursday, Friday and Sunday, so same predicament next weekend. I have a Fork trip planned for the 10th, 11th and 12th and I am pumped, but would like to at least wet a line before then. The river is STILL only 40 degrees and is not going to heat up any time soon. Maybe I can get in a little crappie fishing in a small lake. Wish I could send some of this rain to my friends in Texas!

Now that's off my chest, back to internet fishing!

I'm sorry, I couldn't live there. I can't stand the cold and this winter has been miserable but it sounds like we have it pretty good compared to you.

Haha I would rather it be 100* fishing to me is so much better In the summer than winter plus you can hop in the lake if it's to hot. I've been cold since October and am ready for the summer. I can stand having my hands freeze and ice in my guides.

Aww come on Mat! I know you miss the days of 110 outside and working next to the 2000 degree 500' ft long space heater....

It's good to see you online again. Hollar at me when you head down to Fork.
