OOOPS!! I hit the submit button to early. I am new to this form. I do read it from time to time, and I see where you all give great advise to one another as well as new comers. So I am glade to be joining a band of brotherhood in crappie fishing. My next question is does any know of a good creek where I can do some bank fishing in Lewisville lake? Any help will be greatly appreciated. I am not to familiar with lake Lewisville. The only place I have been fishing is at Arrowhead park.

I don't know Lewisville, as I have never fished it. But from what I have read 121 fishing barge is good and I was told yesterday that Cove Marina barge and slips were doing good.

So you might want to check around those two areas to start.

I have also been told the fish are starting to show up in 2'-4' now but I can't fish yet to check it out.

Do some exploring in the parks around the lake. Those little coves can hold some good beds.

Welcome aboard, and please, watch your step...

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach
