Hey guys,

I have saved some sonar log trips to a SD card. While reviewing them using the software I have noticed some areas that I would like to add a waypoint on the chart.

My question is: Can I save a waypoint using the recording if it is loaded on my unit and it appear on my chart when I return to the lake?

Yes you can. I run hds 8s and after I scan a bank I pull off and set the recording on the simulator. I use 4 screens so I can see the boat location as well as down, side, and 2d. That allows me to get a good look at objects and decide whether to mark wpts or not.
