Nice 8 lbr (ok.. 7 lb 15 oz) on Joe Pool yesterday. Went out for a few hours yesterday and was rewarded with fighting the stiff North wind. Who says the bite stops when a cold front comes in. Almost had the lake to myself. Quickly and carefully released her as she was about to bust eggs. It was a fun boat ride back to ramp but ole 18 ft 97 Champion takes big water like a big boy 21 ft'r! Talked to a game warden a few weeks ago who was taking a survey and he said JP was on the stocking schedule this year. I sure hope so.
