 Deep Nighting for Spring Fish

Started in earnest my "deep nighting" forays for finny creatures last week. Ideally would find late night shallow water crappie, but these darn Green Trash Fish "Pickles" keep hitting my 1/32 oz tube jigs on UNPAINTED jig heads, on 6 lb UL line, and UL gear! What's an angler to do between 10:30-11:00 PM?      On another thread i was told that what i posted was bullsh If it is, i will take it all day long! Rudy

 I think we have the same type of hr . I use to have a slip down at east fork on Lavon.Since there is no water anymore around that area i didn't renewal.But if you were looking for crappies.The area around those brushes in the coves, man it would be full of fatties. Nice catch by the way

UNPAINTED!!! NOOOOOOOOO..
I got some of my own ditch pickles today@@.. My client has a pond and said I could fish it last week so I met him today and did some work then procedded to pull out a few 5+ pounders afterward!
I only fish on days that end in Y!

I know where the crappie are, 10 minutes from my house, same place these bass are, i did catch one 13 incher last week, they are just not there in numbers yet. But anyday now they are gonna explode, and i will be on hand!

I have managed to pull a few nice Crappie out over the past mnths from the culvert myself.I CPR`d some of them and gave a huge one(Crappie)13+ to Otis who just couldn`t catch a cold.

Haven't hit the culvert since right before Christmas. These are from the "other" culvert.

Gonna hit it again tonight, maybe those "pickles" will behave long enough to let some slabs have a turn! Will be hitting it about 10:30'ish, if they hit(confidence level high) will post film at 11 or later!
