Gonna try to hit Athens along with Mill Creek Saturday. I know Athens will have some boats, but wanted to know how many tourneys out there. I don't want to go though with 5 tourneys going. I know the lakes getting alot of attention with the Share Lunkers caught. Thanks.

Athens wasn't bad last weekend, even with the guys in the Nitro from Allen that fished right on top of me. There was 1 or 2 tournys there, but it wasn't too bad. The fish are absolutely turned on there. I put some notes in a previous Athens post that you might go back and look at.
Basically, go real shallow with watermelon & red flake.
I'll be the old man out there in a red & white Stratos with a smallish motor on it. Stop and say Hi.

we did pull up on you accidentally first thing in the morning, I tried to get away from you when my dad pointed it out. you cussing at some in-experienced kids after repeatedly asked not to was un-called for. I apologies for pulling up on you, i didn't mean to. completely turning around and cutting us off several times later on that day was also uncalled for as well! and last but not least it was just plain out ridiculous flashing out a hand gun as well. All I ask is you act your age and not your shoe size, it was an accident and your actions were completely ridiculous.

yes, I heard a loud thump and turned around, he picked up a hand gun and placed it on top of his console. I did consult with police and they said it is only legal if he were to have a concealed carry license and the weapon is concealed.

I don't want to make a big deal about this, nutman please don't call me out for my actions which were accidents for your far out of hand actions.

There isn't a single guy who fishes as hard as most of us do on this forum who haven't accidentally got too close, unintentionally cut some one off, or had to pass by someone real close to get to an area behind someone else. This stuff happens, and when it's unintentional, it's nothing more than an accident and that's exactly how it should be treated.

Way to keep your head about yourself. And it sounds like you turned away when your Dad pointed it out that you were getting too close, you did all you could do.

Do not let what this guy says bother you, it sounds like he's probably just upset that he had to watch all three of y'all whack 'em and more than likely he was struggling. Pulling a gun though is crazy, and I bet money this guy's situation gets addressed by Henderson County Sheriff's Department pretty quick.
