Was fishing at a buddies pond last weekend (date is wrong) and hooked this guy on a bass lure. After getting the hook out, I sent him on his way. He wasn't too happy.

Your right catfish. It's not a digital camera. I had to scan it. I hate to replace the batteries a while back and I guess it the date was reset.

Looks like a 'banded' water snake. Their bite is harmless, but they can spray (****..) all over the place and really smell up the area. Took one into a science class as a young boy, while the instructor was holding it, it managed to get away, so the instructor gently stepped on its head, and it sprayed a circle all around the instructor. I didn't have to clean it .

hey tower,
Nice to hear from somebody close to home, I'm from Ashdown, and used to live in T-town AR, for a few years before I moved to lewisville, man I really miss the fishing there, having wright-patman and millwood, plus all my lil honey holes was the best. Out here you need a boat and a guide, I could sure post a lot on the bank fishing section if I still lived in T-town as a matter of fact I caught my biggest lmb to date memorial day weekend on a topwater lure private pond of course she went about 7lbs.
