Take whatever tboxfish sent you to heart. flehan

Might want to get some his baits as well because they work real good on that lake.

I haven't found them shallow here yet. We have a couple of docks brushed in and when they move up, we slaughter them. History shows that Cypress is always a week or 2 behind other East Texas lakes. I'd suspect there are a few shallow on Sandlin, but after this week it will be on full bore.
Belinda & I will be going to Sandlin next week to locate fish for our second annual spawn camping trip thumb fish hooked

We went last Friday to Sandlin. I caught 3 crappie a 2 1/2 pounder and a 2 pounder and another smaller one. Wife caught a sandbass. That's it. We started shallow with jigs and minnows not a bite. Then moved to 7-8 ft. water and caught these 4. Water temp was hanging around 62-63 degrees. Went back Saturday morning and tried again and not a bite. Water temp started off at 49 degrees and climb fast up to 58 before we shut it down.
