this was practicing at Texoma last Thursday. sorry I was fishing in boaters way, you know right has right of way so I was in the wrong. laugh this was by Eisenhower, so no way that little boat came all the way from Oklahoma. wink camera is wide angle too, so everything appears further than it is.

Wow. I had two guys pull between and my partner last year during a tourney and park. About the same diatance those guys passed by you. Then he proceeded to tell me I was fishing his brush pile! I told him how I felt about the situation and that I had already caught and released two crappie on a crank bait and accidentally moved his brush because I got stuck in it smile.

Wow

You know what I really love is the old-timers getting worked up about how impolite this younger generation is, and then I see videos like this. Couple of old-timers with no etiquette. I would estimate that at least 75% of the time I get cut off or someone gets way too close when fishing in tight quarters, it's an older guy. I know they're not all that way, but I also feel like this problem has very little to do with the young folks on the water now.

I have been cut off, passed by too close and generally encountered more rudeness from exactly the same type in the past. More "recreational" anglers have shown rudeness a ton more than any tournament guys. of course no one wants to hear that.

Caddo is bad too. My uncle was tied up in the river this weekend. 10-20' from poles and the bank. He said people would blast between him and the pole. He finally had one guy actually idle by. My uncle tells him...."You see that bank way over there across the river behind me? There isn't any stumps between here and there!"

cheers

Tournament guys have been 10 times nicer to me than the older recreational fisherman.

looking back my dad was just a Walleye and Crappie fisherman in Kansas. We had a little 17-18 footer and I remember being brain washed a little about the bad bass fisherman. smile Understand my dad was a minister and great guy, but just because of those fast running loud Evinrudes we had a negative outlook on them. I don't remember ever being cut off or looked down to, I just don't think we liked them because they were fast and loud, really not good reasons except jealousy and close minded.

That is just plain rude! But I see it all the time.

My dad is one of those old crappie fisherman who just hates bass fisherman cause he normally is on the other end of getting swamped. He's just plain old mean and crazy. Chased a guy down on RR from St. James Hump to Buck Creek Ramp one time and pulled a machete out on em. My neighbor was fishing with him and he said "I thought your dad was gonna kill em". If it was anyone of you on here I apologize for him.

That is so rude of them, but I see it done many of times on ray Roberts. Some older man pull up next to you thinking he owns the place, but I just smile and go on my way. Rude ol' farts...
