At least throw out conditions!!!!

Ok. Conditions were perfect!

It all started a little after 9 Friday night with a little jaunt over to Lake Palestine to get minnerswith the gf. And that kinda stunk cause we had to learn about SFA's awesome comeback win from a friend in a text.

Get back to the gf's house close to 10 and say my goodbyes. Call my friend to see where he is and he is still in the rack, which ticked me off cause I gave him his marching orders not 30 minutes earlier. I get to the Brookshires in Troup and have to wait on him for about 20 minutes but that gave me time to my corks ready.

So he finally shows up and we head off to get this old boat I have stashed away at a small pond about 60 yards through some woods. So over an hour later we finally have this old boat loaded in his truck. And finally about 1we are sliding the boat in the water.

We fished for several hours and were doing ok and then we switched sides of the cove to catch what we were hearing splashing. It was still just ok until I tossed back towards the middle. I started catching fish and it really took off when I started throwing a jig. I would pull my jig right past his minnow and the cork would start dancing or just flat out disappear.

She was sleeping. Had a friend from church go.

Forgot to mention, by the time we got the boat loaded and back to my truck it was daylight.

I went straight to work and finished up about 4 Saturday afternoon.

Needless to say, I took about a 5 hour nap after dinner with the gf and then I headed home.

Such is life of an outdoorsman, doin-it if ya can!

The one in the middle is a hawg. Nice stringer! Giving out some serious Spring Fever doses there.

Gonna go back tomorrow afternoon. Hope they are still there.
