so I got myself sick a lot lately fishing this cold weather stuff. Actually fell in the lake last weekend....I choose not to go into detail on that one. It was embarrassing enough when it happened. all I have to say is don't always trust your depth finder!

Anyway I spent alot of time at home depot trying to figure out kayak accessorizing. This is half the fun to me anyway. Plus I needed to stay home and get well. I ended up using the plastic paint for the bottom of my ascend. Worked okay but think I am going to use the heavy duty truckbed stuff tomorrow. Other than this I found this cool site for installing a track system. I am trying to design my own transducer arm and track system for scotty products. ....is a work in progress but will post pics. Right now I have pvc rigged just so I could get on the water with the depth finder. Being patient and thinking about this stuff a lot is proving to be very rewarding....rather than being impulsive and just drilling into my rig.
