Steve you can be my El Salto photographer anytime!

I understand the whole "pictures can be deceiving" deal, but still surprised that was only 19 inches long!

That's a typical "private water fishing" fish right there thumb

Nice fattie!!

I caught one like that here, in MS a couple years ago and sent some pics of it to friends. Some of them thought it weighed up to 10lbs. The actual weight was 7lbs. She was built like a Sherman Tank!!

There's some in Fairfield like that right now.
Friend of mine caught one a couple weeks ago. Head and length said 4 lbs., scale said 7.
They're not footballs, more like basketballs.

The tilapia survived the fish kill apparently.

Nice fish, Steve.
When do we get a shot at her?

Cut with her golden oars the silver stream,
And greedily devour the treacherous bait.

Also a great example of how fish pictures can be deceiving. I'm sure most guys would have thought this fish was 10 lb plus.

A real testament to great lake management and a female full of eggs.

My phone must have been out of cell range when you called me to go with you. Great fish!
