For me, no question, I'm sold on the Oakley High Definition Optics shallow blue lenses. I'm on the water too much to use anything other than the best. They're lightweight and provide unparalleled impact protection. From Oakley's patented polarization process and 100% UV light filtering to a wide variety of frame styles and sizes, Oakley has you covered.
Was that comment from the back of the Oakley flyer?? Lol, sounds like a properly educated angler to me... On a serious note to the OP, when you're choosing eyewear pick a brand based on their lens technology and protection not because of price or because they float. Polarized eyewear is for protection (from glare and objects) and for enhanced clarity. My advice regardless of brand preference is don't skimp on eyewear protection. It's the most important thing. I cringe when I see someone post that their $30 pair of shades work just fine. The reality is they don't "work" at all; your eye does and it pays the price.

Seem to be perfect for most light applications.

I bought some Costas and like the optical quality. So much that I didn't realize the style I got didn't fit my noggin quite right! Gonna get rid of them and go with Oakley or Wiley- I guess I don't have a Costa head. Lol. Hard to go wrong with either!

I have a pair of Oakley's and a pair of Costa's. I love both, but the Costa's are my favorite

Ok, a different perspective here. My daughter works in the optics industry in the sales, marketing and distribution side of the business on a global level. She stays up to date on current technology and quality. I recently posed this question to her about fishing glasses. Her reply was that Maui Jim was squarely at the top of the heap in their polarization process and quality. Costa was also very good stuff. Oakley's quality was an absolute joke but their marketing was superb. Her only issue with Maui Jim was their pricing. I got no pony in this race, just passing along the info I have access to. I personally wear Ray-Ban prescription polarized but they are a far cry from the Maui Jim's I wore before absolutely having to have prescription lenses. I's still wear them but even at wholesale, their prescription lenses are outrageous.

What colored lens do you prefer when sight fishing? I use amber. Would like your opinions. Pros and cons.
