I caught a few at the north jetty in bolivar. I had better luck in sabine pass though I wasn't targeting them they were killing shrimp on popping corks.

They're around most structures. A couple was catching them by dozens in P.I. pier last week on live Shrimp just dropped straight down. East cut jetties are pretty good right now for sheepshead too. Just use a small hook or you'll be frustrated to no end!

Lol whoops sorry I'm used to everyone knowing what P.I. means. It's Port Isabel. It's right next to the bridge that connects to South Padre Island so you get to use both structures if you can cast out far enough to he close to it.

You should do pretty good there. Just get small hooks max 3/0 and keep feeling your line. Sheepshead are sneaky and tricky!!! Very frustrating but fun smile and they're great for the table

sharkslaya,

I was down at surfside and SLP on 3/22 and limited out between the two spots. I was popping small shrimp on a treble at Surfside jetty, about a 4-5 ft. leader and a fishfinder rig at SLP.

We caught 6 (30) limits off the North Galveston Jetty this last Saturday before the oil spill. I don't know what it's like now.
