I didn't get pics while building but here we go..
First I had a fairly large softsided cooler that I shoved down in the 4"porthole behind the seat so stuff doesn't float around inside the yak. I use this for wallet, jacket, flashlight, etc....and now DF too.

I used the cupholer and a 2"PVC coupling wrapped in a bike innertube and secured with a tiewrap. I cut the top of the coupling at the angle I needed and used "L" brackets to attach to a piece of cutting board.

Wires run under the rubber port caps.
The cutting board is just wide enough for my DF mount and long enough to go from cup holder to 4"port.
The whole thing fits inside the 4" port for transport.
Now the Business end....
I used 1" PVC in one of the flush rod holders. I found a 1" o-ring that was in my pool sweep inventory and it is a nice snug watertight fit in the rod holder.

I reduced to 3/4" from the "tee" and slip fit the rest.
For the transducer it is a 1 1/2" elbow I believe.
Notice the hole in the bottom for the cable, and draining. I also notched it where the clamp screw is so the calmp can't slide off.

It raises for shallows, or brush.
PVC notch visible here at the clamp.

Working position

Battery and all wiring goes in the back port hole cooler.

PVC pulls apart and stores in the bag.

It has been on one voyage and the only modification I would make is I put a "cross" in instead of the "tee". and can use the rod holder now.
