Saw this topic on another forum and I thought I'd ask, how many of you have experienced that Erie feeing of sticking your hand blindly into your minnow bucket only to yank your hand out so fast after feeling a snake. I hate snakes so I usually make a scene, looking like a 3rd grade girl jumping and screaming frkazoid . It's happened to me half a dozen times, usually around this time of year. Anyone else have this experience? Any funny stories resulting from it?

Darrell....can't be too careful out there when snakes are around!!!!
One time I was catfishin' and this diamond covered venomous serpent got my fish!!!!

I went lookin' for him and almost didn't get out of there alive!!!!

When I was still in reform school, this girl kept bugging me so I took her fishin'!!!! Just ONE time!!!!

So...minners or not.....be careful!!!!

Never had one in a minnow bucket but did get one in fish basket when I was about 12 years old. We had camped out at Whiterock lake and I had some bream in my basket. I left the basket in the water overnight and snake had gotten in and swallowed a fish whole. Because of this the snake could not get out of the basket. A 410 ended his life.

That may be worse than snakes on planes. How did the boogers get in there? I float my minnows behind me in a bag. So far so good.
