 Yet Another Raptor Voyage

Took the raptor out for another paddle last night. It was a bit windy, but the wind sock helps alot. I like to keep moving so no anchor for me. I caught a 2-pound bass on a texas rigged worm, so the "bird of prey" has taken her first fish. I decided I would try standing. I almost fell in, but stayed upright. I caught a much smaller bass while standing. Sorry no pics. The phone stays in the truck, and I'm still trying to work out the gopro. Another dry trip. I would have liked to stay and paddle awhile, but it was getting dark.

Thanks for the compliments. I call it bassaraptor. When you are a graphic designer you don't have to pay people to do that sort of thing for you. I suspected I was talking with the Santa Cruz guy. I think I'm ready for a bigger trip. I'm not available for a trip this weekend, but maybe the next. I'd like to get on Alvarado.

HA! ima have to try that... i hate feeling like im sitting in a hole and tryin to get my fish on..

Yes. The water is still quite cold. I didn't stand long, but I did get up and actually caught a fish while standing--so set a hook. I think it will take a while to get accustomed to it.
