This was Saturday night, 7-29-06, don't know who the guy is he said it is a channel cat, I thought it was a blue catfish. He said 20 lbs?

kind of hard to tell if its a blue or a channel in the picture, but nice looking fish

12.46 lbs is the record channel cat for ray hubbard on a rod and reel, I wonder if that guy knew that.

Bet he didn't, plus I think he was a little more interested in his boat problems. He said the batteries went dead around Miller Rd, called wife on cell, she brought battery from home that was charging, that was low also, put fishing buddy out boat, fishing buddy rode with wife back to Dalrock, I saw him coming across lake with lights flickering trying to find boat ramp

i dont see any spots, do they go away as the channels get bigger. i've caught 4 and 5 lber's that had the spots or speckels on them. just curious, i personaly would have thought it was a blue.does the deep forked tail mean its a channel for sure, if so, thats good to know.
