Sounds too good to be true! Hope it's not!!!! I hear ya! I'm surprised this isn't front page news. At least on COE websites, Bass or fishing and lake forums. Lake Lavon... or should I say the NTMWD (North Texas Municipal Water District) just spent $300 million dollars to build a huge 46 mile pipe line to bring water - around - Lake Lavon into the water treatment plant... just to avoid having ZM from Texoma pumped into Lavon. https://ntmwd.com/texoma_extension.htmlhttp://www.nbcdfw.com/weather/stories/Wa...-134638753.htmlI'm sure $300,000,000 would buy a lot of Zequanox.

Native muscles are not listed among the species not effected by the zequanox. I bet it kills them as well, but since the zebra and quagga muscles kill the native ones I guess its just a choice to which will destroy the native species. Wonder what happens to the water if there are zero muscles? Probably not catastrophic as private ponds typically dont have them.
Can someone explain how the Feds count recreational Red Snapper catch?

Hope their find is true. Can't have those zebra muscle taking food that's nourishment for many fry species.

I'm always skeptical about anything like this! Like the grass carp! I hear ya Bill. "We're from the government. We're here to help you" - lol Never works. The fact that the government isn't using it yet makes me think it may actually work! Looks like this may be a win for private enterprise.
