Does anyone know a good place to camp for strippers an/or cats this time of the year. My buddies and I are camping this upcoming weekend and looking for a good place with some activity. I just bass fish so I don't follow the strippers very well. We're down for any suggestions (public campgrounds or not)...just want to have some good success if possible.

Thanks,
Michael

There is good camping at Juniper West on Hwy 377 just before you cross into Oklahoma. The boat ramps were closed but it's not much further north where you turn east to Buncomb Creek Marina and their boat dock is okay. Fishing for striper is pretty good west of the Willis Bridge which you will cross whrn you come into Oklahoma the just watch for signage going to Buncomb Creek. The lake came up to 608' elevation and the corp may have the Juniper West boat launch open again.

Cedar Bayou marina is closer if you want to launch.

I always found the #20 worked best when nothing else would.
