Man this lake brings back so many memories! back in early 70's grew up on fm600 and all there was to do is fish no car. Back then the power plant was running and it was not illegal to walk up to it and fish. was back when they stocked it with walleye man that was a good eating fish.

I had that same problem on Monday. Could find the fish, but they had lockjaw. Then the wind picked up. I like your rig Tdot.

thanks! I love my new toy but i almost got into some real trouble one of my bladders started to deflate. i took it apart and there is no hole. i blew it up last night to let it set to see if any air would leak, its still inflated. i also developed leg cramps fighting the wind

Temp at Phantom last week 48-55 degrees, might be 51-58 on this weeks report.

Mar 20, 2013 Water clear; 5964 degrees; 11.47 low. Black bass are fair on chatterbaits and Texas rigs. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. White bass are fair to good on slabs. Catfish are fair to good on cut bait.

Yeah, the water is still pretty cold. Be safe out there in a tube and make sure you ALWAYS have on a pdf.

I think its still few weeks away have to remember we had a cold cold winter this year water temp has to be 10 degrees less now than this time last year don't you figure. If the fish marked on Tdots graph are slabs in 10-15 fow that means they are thinking about it. Bad thing is the coming weather forecast high winds and little cool snap. Yall done went and done it I think Im going to relive my youth a little and head to Phantom with boat a few times this spring lol

I went today from about 4-7 and managed 5 fish and 4 keepers in that time. The water is still a little shy of 53 (that's cold). The fish I did catch were on brush in about 10-12 feet. I never really did get a pattern.
