I stumbled upon this by sheer accident and it turns out it's like these tackle boxes and Target Sterilite milk crate were made for each other.

All the boxes I have are labeled as Plano 3700 Two tier stowaways but I supposed the dimensions are what's important (14"Lx9"wx2.75"h). Four of these fit in that milk crate fit like a glove. I got some rod holders and put two on the corners of a long side and one in the center of the opposite short side. My visipole goes in the back one by the rudder. This setup works EXTREMELY well with the Hobie Outback bungie rigging as it is with no modifications at all. The bungie can even be put over the corners in such a way that it prevents the boxes from coming out which would be great for BTB. I only have three in there because I haven't purchased a fourth yet but four will fit perfectly.

Fish eat things. I'll put things in the water that fish like to eat. I'll attach these things to a hook, line, rod, and reel. How hard can this be?

Very nice. I like the double stack Plano boxes especially for my crappie jigs and jigheads. thumb
