Most of my hybrids were caught North of 380. I have never caught them south. Just about 1/2 mile north of the railroad bridge in 8+ deep water, holding to any structure in the deep current.

Any reports on the sand bass run? Thought with the warm temps they may have started moving a little.

So I'm thinking that fishing from the dirt ramp at the Greenbelt/380 park might be a good idea tomorrow? Certainly safer than scaling down the bank on the south side of 380...
Who's going?

I went today. Put my canoe in and went north of the rr bridge. Fished several holes all the way up and back. Caught a gar. Maybe the rain will help. Water temp was 58 and there is some flow.

They are not north just yet. This rain will be a big help. Just hope it will be enough. May need to wait just a few days to see what it does.

I went the other day, they were not running. I hope the rain yesterday helped.

Walked the bank a little today just to see if anything changed. Nothing. Water is a little murky and still has the little flow. Disappointed to say the least. When it warms I need to try and launch the yak and go downstream to check a few holes and check the mouth to see if it is even deep enough for the fish to get through.

Been slaying the fish on the fly in the green belt for five weeks or so even caught a bunch with snow on the ground the other day. They have been there for a while saw fish chasing each other and flashing on there side for several weeks.

I hit the green belt yesterday and had one fish and was headed out. Saw a riffle running down I to a pool an caught about 20 in very shallow water on the fly rod. Water was fairly dirty but looked to be clearing should be great this week.

Impressive Robert. I too was there from 1-5 yesterday. Where did you park?

I didn't fish. Just wanted to walk the banks and see if their was any change in the flow or clarity from the rain. Only one other car parked down there and they were a biker. No other car parked South side either. That's why I was curious as to know if Robert hit the area in the morning.

How was the clarity on the creek? I went and checked out hickory creek today and the clarity was only about 6 inches at most, very very murky. I was thinking about taking the yak out tomorrow at the green belt but If it's as dirty as hickory creek is, it would pretty much be a waste. I'd do better floating a pond for some greenies as dirty as it was.

Water clarity was foggy at most, but not muddy. Get the yak out and go!!
