Fish to your strengths and concentrate on one fish at a time. Have fun. You can't win a tournament unless you enter it.
To prepare to fish tournaments you need to fish every chance you get regardless of the weather. Keep a log on the lakes you fish and patterns that you catch fish and those of anyone that shares.
Good Luck Sounds like a good answer. Works best if you fish that lake often, so you know what to use at different times.
