Thanks for the report. Probably gonna at least check it out. Good call on the rope, wouldn't have even thought of it. I'll let y'all know how it goes.

Are you using live bait, jigs, spinners?

Fished about 3 hours. Had a few hits but didn't set the hook in time. The creek is probably 3-4 feet up and very cloudy. Very muddy on the banks. Probably best to wait a few days for the water to clear up.

Fished about 4 hours today. Picked the creek apart. A couple sandbass were willing to eat. Water was like yoo hoo!

How far back did you go? I scouted with a single rod at the section by 2499 and probably went a little over a mile up the creek. Couldn't get any takers but the water is extremely muddy. There was maybe about 6 inches of clarity.

I was fishing with a flyrod, bumping clousers off the bottom. I fished both sides of the old bridge about a half mile toward the lake. This was my first time to fish this creek. I'm trying to decide if I'm going to the nolan or the greenbelt Wednesday.

Went today about 4-630. Was worried it'd be elbow to elbow when I saw the parking lot but when I went to where I wanted to fish, NOBODY there. One guy with a fly rod fishing for sandies for the first time eventually made his way to where I was, saw him catch a big ol carp on the fly, was pretty cool to see it thrash and splash while he hauled it in, he was laughing the whole time saying "I really think it's a carp." Fishing was pretty good when I got there and for about thirty minutes before I left, landing one every 5-10 casts, but for over an hour in the middle it shut down. Ended up catching 20 or so, mostly in the 10-12 inch range with a few smaller and a few bigger. Lost more jigs than I've ever lost in a single time out, there is so much new debris in new places washed in from that rain we got.

Fished there last night for a few hours right near the bridge. Saw about a 15 white bass taken between 4 different anglers. I don't think any of them were over 11" or so. Heard rumors that you need to hike downstream a ways to find the hybrids. Didn't have much time so I didn't venture very far.

Years past up stream was good and I do say UP STREAM this year I am not sure that they are getting past the bridge yet The ssandbass seem to be past that point but the hybrid was stuck at the bridge as in very little water at that point.
