+ this is what I use and I love it, very sensitive, I use green power pro 30 lb with about a 4 ft leader. No problem with twist, also if you are cranking the handle while the drag is slipping it will put twist in your line. And when you fill up your reel lay the spool flat not the way you would spool up a baitcaster, If it starts to twist up while spooling flip the spool over.

I also had the braid slipping through the eye of the hook. I use a floro leader, and had to fix the eyelet on the rod. All of my spinning are using powerpro 30 now. I have even wrapped it around the trolling motor with a fish on, didn't even lose the fish.

I fished Trilene XL 8 pound on my reels for years with no issues, my favorite fishing technique is finesse fishing so I had a spinning set up in my hands most of the time. I was given a sample spool of Bass Pro Shops Excel line in 8 pound @ a tournament a few years ago. I needed to re-spool one day and was out of Trilene so I put the Excel on my reel. That is by far the best line I have ever fished with and it cost quiet a bit less than any other line. No issues with line twist no nothing. What really sold me on it was I was pitching a 4 inch Texas rigged worm at a grass bed one day on Fork and had a 4 pounder grab the worm and tunnel up in the grass. I tried to dig him up and decided after a while I was just going to have to break off. I wrapped that 8 pound line around my hand several times and started pulling. I wound up pulling the fish and a wad of hydrilla in the boat that probably weighed as much as the fish and didn't break it. I read a little about line twist and mono above. That is usually caused by lure attachment issues. A T-rigged worm will twist your line if it is hooked to far back in the worm. I always start the hook a 1/4 or less into the worm. Anything further back create a cork screw effect. The nose of the worm has to be perfectly straight........

I am very pleased with the invisi Braid spiderwire with flouro leader I used this week on Amistad. Good hookups and minimal lost fish. Could feel the bait better. I used 15lb with 12lb leader and 10lb with 10lb leader.
