I live in the Houston area, but we are flexible on location. My boys enjoy road trips, so any of the lakes in East Texas or Central Texas are fine. We drive over to Venice and Grand Isle several times a year to fish. A 4 or 5 hour drive for 2 or 3 days of fishing is no problem for us.
