Yep, I've got a leak and a half tank of gas. Guess I'll just plug both intakes and hope I don't catch a SAL this weekend. mad

Question - Is there something more durable than the cheap corrugated plastic hoses? If I'm going to fix it, I want to make sure I never have to do it again.

There is a clear (nylon reinforced) polypropylene hose that works great for bilge and live well hoses. Its heat resistant and wont dry rot for years. I think I paid about $2 a foot for it at Home Depot about a year or so ago. It works great and comes in both 3/4 and 1 inch ID sizes.

I'll second the clear poly hose. I used it to plumb a livewell on my pontoon boat and it was affordable and easy to work with. Even semi-exposed to UV under the open deck, it didn't yellow or stiffen too bad for the 7 or 8 years it was there.

And people always ask me why I don't have a livewell built into my boat.

only corrugated hose I use is to get water out of the boat after the pump.
