 caught this 2.5 lber off of a white spinnerbait bringing it right by a stump. Pretty good all in all, my dad and I caught a total of 4. Water temp is still 55° but is slowly warming up. Great day at the lake!

Got to be in the creek. It was 50 main lake prior to last cold snap.

was out there today too, you had better luck than i did, i ZEROED today - water temp in main lake about 50, back in the creeks i found 56 degree, but no fish..... it sure was crazy windy today

Great Catch! Keep fishin.
In my opinion this spring is kinda weird. I love pre-spawn, but I haven't found a real good pre-spawn bite. I think it's really gonna go from this right into the spawn. I was out today on Holbrook water temp in mid 50's. Thought it was gonna be on fire. Nothing special. Fished 7 hours and caught 10. A few big females staging. Bite is just not as good as you would expect it to be.

Nice catch. Joe Pool is one of the few metroplex lakes with water in it.
What would Gary Dollahon do if he were here today?

Much better than we did Friday. We had been catching good fish, but we couldn't buy a bite!
