 Mustang Island Jetties, Packery channel???

Hey guys...depending on the reports of what it looks like for this weekend, I might make a trip down there (but, if spring break makes it tough to find a camping spot I might pass). I like flounder and pompano best, but reds and specks are always fine too. Any info on this time of year, bait to use, and locations? We have a small boat so we could prolly get into laguna madre a ways...prolly too small to get out in the gulf though. Also shore/Jetti fishing is fine too.

Good luck finding a spot, I was at the packery channel a week before spring break started and people were already finding their way to the beaches.
Don't let the good door hit ya where the good lord split ya.

yeah, decided to just go to Leona park this morning...caught 4 nice ones and had lunch!
