From what I have heard is its happening in flat creek and Kickapoo. Just what I have heard now, don't hold m to it. LOL

I fished Highsaw and Ledbetter creeks this evening. Caught a 2.5 pound crappie on a swim jig. Water temp was 59-60. We fished pretty hard. I saw no one catches bass, and there were 5-6 boats back there. I'm thinking it may still be a week before it gets really cranked up there. Got skunked in Stone Chimney creek tuesday

I was surprised as well. I made one cast within 20 feet of where I took two good ones last winter.  8 lb 14 oz. last winter.
