Yes is there a "deep cycle" trolling motor type battery ? Similar to a group 27 ?

Yes there is. Check out our website at lithiumpros.com, any question get back to me. Thanks for the interest. These batteries are lighter and more powerful, and also charge up much quicker.

Lithium batteries just have not become cost effective yet, and may not be anytime soon. A 4 figured battery isn't attractive to anyone except tho's who have more money than they know what to do with. I put them in the same category as wind turbines, maybe one day but right now. They cost more to manufacture, install and maintain than the equivalent in energy and service they produce.
