Fishing was very good for the 2.5 hrs we fished this evening. We had 24 lbs with our best five with a 6.75 and 5.50 as kickers. Lots of 3 and 4 lbs fish today. All were still chocked full of eggs and will be on the banks by next week if there is not major changes in the weather.

All fish were still deep and caught on t-rigs. Here are a couple of pics of the 2 better fish.

Nice. Coleto seems like an awesome lake. I would try it except I live 6 plus hours away haha.

Thank you. I've been there a few times and always caught good numbers but my biggest is only about 3lbs. I guess that deeper bite is slower but it's hard to stay deep to try to catch the bigger one when u know you can go a little shallower and catch a bunch. We caught a large group of largemouth schooling in the area between the island and the dam one day. We had a blast. Are there any areas you could suggest. I've got a small boat and normally don't go to far but if someone with local knowledge pointed me in a direction I would appreciate it.
