I have a one year old SeaHunt 22' bay boat and took it out to the lake for the first time since winterizing late last year and immediately the bilge pump started running and I could hear water pouring into the bilge.... I opened the hatch to see two parts floating in the bilge and water coming in through a pipe that goes from the water pickup on the bottom of the boat to one of the livewell pumps. Strangely enough there is NO shutoff valve installed from the factory so no way to keep water from coming in!!! It appears that there was still water left in the small clear nylon pieces with the screens in them and they froze and busted and this is where the water was coming out. I have searched everywhere trying to find these pieces and called Xylem that owns Rule, they gave me a number to their Boston location, called them and nobody to talk to and just a group voice mail box.... They are Rule 800 gph tournament series pumps and I need those two threaded nylon parts!

Are those pumps mounted directly to the transom? If so you may need thru transome fittings and install with hose. Another shot may be the dealer. Good Luck

Call north texas marine or go there and talk to service manager. North texas marine is on loop 820 east just west of I35 on the right side. If you take bluemount exit coming from east take a left under the bridge and take another left on the service road and it's next to the store on the right.

No there is a brass pickup on the bottom of the hull then a pvc line connected inside the boat to that pickup and a foot away down the line is this part then 8" further downline is the pump. I will call North TX marine tomorrow! Thanks
