 Brazos River Delta?

I was lookin on Google maps & saw that the brazos spills into the gulf at Freeport, & was wondering if anybody has any experience (good/bad) at this spot? Is it public?

MOB---mouth of the brazos. plenty folks go there. some times the fishing is pretty good and i think you can camp there.
