Well I am heading back down to Aransas Pass again.. I've been reading and gathering as much info as I can, I will be on a kayak and no BTB. Wanted to see if the reds or drum are running. The weather for next week looks great was wondering if anyone could help us with some good spots to start with. If anyone wants to join us we won't mind.. Any info would help thanks!

My son caught this one 2 weeks ago in the Aransas channel, if you are heading towards PORT A/ferry just past tarpon springs bait house on left. He was fishing on the other side of the channel. He also caught a bunch of 18--19" reds on the other side of the road.

Heading towards the ferry to go to Port A take the last left, should be about 2-3 miles before the ferry and follow the road all the way down. To the left you will find little cut outs that you can do some surf fishing, the trip this past week I caught a nice sized drum there. If you hit the oil company you went too far lol.

Be warned the road is a little rough, don't need a 4x4 to get there but a truck will make the ride a little smoother.

Don't let the good door hit ya where the good lord split ya.
