Met Rob and we launched at Don's Port about 10:30. Went to our first spot the fork, marked fish, put the spot lock on and sat there in that one spot for 2.5 hrs and caught 120 fish. I have never caught that many sandies on one spot for that long. We had one rod in hand and one in a rod holder each. We had doubles and I had a triple, two on one and one on the other. Pattern is the same as it has been, mark fish in 30-40 fow, start thumping the boat and drop the thump buddy and slab down. We caught fish until we could hardly hold our arms up it was a memorable day. Cedar Creek is still hot fishing for sandies.

This graph looked like this for hours.

Awesome! I love it when it works like that. Easy on the gas tank!

On my way, hope there at least one left. This semi retirement for the birds, time to get out and run a few trips.

Hi Steve,
Great jobs on Cedar Creek Lake. I am very sure you have a great time to caught 120 sandies in one spot. I hope that our local lake Ray Hubbard will be hot like that in some days. So far, RH is very difficult to find any sandy this month for me.

Tom

Ray Hubbard and Richland Chambers seem to do this every year, sometime around Feb they disappear and nobody is able to find them. Sooner or later they will show up and be hungry.
