Do you store your plastics in the bags or do you store them in plano boxes? Any disadvantage to one over the other?

I keep my soft plastics in four labeled containers with sturdy tops form Walmart ($6 a piece). When I'm fishing tournaments I'll keep what I think I'll be using on my EZ Veiw clips for easy access... That rarely pans out perfectly.

Both. Bags of plastics in the larger Plano boxes separated by type (swim, creatures, worms, lizards, etc)

little original bags put in larger bags by color, flukes, and swimbaits. hard baits in hard containers each marked as the type ie; shallow, medium, deep, real deep, dd jerkbaits, sp 78's, sq bills, 10z spinner baits, chart spinner baits, jigs black, jigs green, chunks etc.

Good topic. Man, it doesn't take long to have a LOT and seems most of the original bags don't zip lock closed anymore...like the original bag 'cause it has all the info on the bait.
I guess one big plastic bin as someone suggested..that closes air tight??

I used to use the worm binders from Basspro but I have gotten away from those as I don't really know what I have. It's easy to loose track of what you can't see. I have opted for medium sized clear plastic containers from Walmart in the crafts/sewing section. It's air tight and I can see what I have. I leave the plastics in their original bag so I know the exact size and color. I go through and pack what I need in my Falcon FTO bag for the day. I unload my boat and never leave tackle in it and it's a pain to unload a lot stuff I never use.

Good thought. I do the same. I just don't want to leave 'bait' out for thieves not to mention the heat here in Texas even though my rig is covered and under it's own carport....it still gets VERY hot here..like you said, it's a pain but don't want to buy that stuff all over again.

I keep mine in the original bags inside some plastic boxes I get from Walmart as well. Just seems like I never know what I have and I keep buying some things over and over. I know one thing I'll never run out of black and blue senkos!
