Lake Fork Marina or Oak Ridge for lodging/food. No crappie houses. Lots of private docks. A number of highway bridges with pillars and rip rap you can fish from the bank.

Pope's landing has they nicest cabins on the lake. They also have nightly rental wet slips that everyone uses for crappie holes and they have a bunch of docks around there. www.popeslanding.com sounds like that would be your best bet.

Right across the road from hopalong, Fishermans Cove, I assume you can access Williams creek under the bridge. That would be a good bet for you. There are places that rent boats if your land locked. If you could even get you hands on an aluminum boat you can go in there and fish the timber flat right under the bridge. I have watched guys hammer crappie in there. Assuming water under there.

When the spawn starts get some waders and get out there......you can be a lot more stealthy than anybody in a boat and have a better shot at landing a DD SAL than the average guy in a boat.........several cove around the lake that are wader friendly.........
