Wanted to go to Fork this coming weekend but couldn't find a place to stay so my wife started surfing and found Cypress Bend Resort on Toledo Bend. I gotta say it looks like a great place. She can spa for a few days and I can fish a couple days with her and a couple by myself with my phone turned off. Can't wait. Bad thing is I have never been there before. Does anyone know anything about this place? Do they have a ramp and or a marina? If not where would be the closest ramp? Also any recommendations on restaurants would be great. I'm hoping to find some boiled crawfish in season since we are technically in Cajun Country. Thanks in advance for your advice and help. Dennis

Cypress Bend does have a ramp with plenty of parking. As far as places to eat we like I think it's called Fisherman's Wharf. From the La. side it's on the right before you cross the Pendleton Bridge. Might be called the Fisherman's Galley. You can't miss it. Hope this helps. Good luck to ya!

We took a golfing trip to this area. We stayed at Emerald Hills. Which was a mistake, a dump. We played one round at Emerald Hills and the rest at Cypress Bend. Very nice place. Golf would be a bonus if you are interested. Great course. We have a group of about 20 that do an annual trip. This one was a mistake in June. We liked of died from the humidity. Never so glad to get home. A spring time or fall trip for sure.

Cypress bend is a great place to stay. My wife and I stayed there last October for a weekend. The golf course has nice facility's but the course condition wasn't very good. The course had a fun layout but looks like it just isn't what it used to be. The hotel and spa/pool were great. Fishermans wharf is good and the restaurant at the resort are both good.

Hope this helps.

There will be crawfish in either Many(15 minutes away) or down 191 south at the Shell station about (20 minutes away). They have some really good ones for sure. Cypress is a great place to stay, they have a decent restraunt at the hotel also, and as others said Fisherman's Galley has good seafood. Beautiful golf course as well. Enjoy your trip!

CB is an OK place. Right on Toledo Bend with good ramps. Nice golf course and pretty country. Lodge is clean and very nice. It's a great weekend vacation.

They should have crawfish at the little spot next to Toledo town.

I will be over there the rest of this week. The Texas Oilmans is this Friday and Saturday out of Cypress, so it will get busy around weigh in.
