Went and did a little fishing in the San Jacinto River this weekend. Caught a nice mess of eater blues. Went with my wife's cousin and he was amazed at how well it worked and stayed on the hook in a good current

FWIW good ole STANKIN bait works real good in winters cold water to draw slow feeding whiskers to the hooks
